The competition is a prestigious review of the achievements of the Polish construction industry. The awarded and honoured buildings are characterised by modern technological solutions, high quality of workmanship, good organisation of the construction process, high level of ensuring occupational safety and environmental protection. The competition is organised by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians (PZITB). Górnośląski Park Przemysłowy sp. z o.o. received an award in the 18th edition of the competition for its energy-efficient Goeppert – Mayer class A office building.

The competition is open to companies that can boast success in developing or implementing innovative technological, production, service, marketing or organisational solutions. The competition is organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Silesian Province together with Górnośląska Agencja Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości S.A. (the Upper Silesian Agency for Enterprise Development). Górnośląski Park Przemysłowy sp. z o.o. was the winner in the small entrepreneur category for its Goeppert-Mayer energy-saving building with the application of the trigeneration system, consisting in the production of electricity, heat and cold from natural gas.

Górnośląski Park Przemysłowy sp. z o.o. received the Highest Quality International 2012 emblem certificate in the QI Product category. The award was granted for the energy-efficient Goeppert – Mayer building within the GPP Business Park complex. The organiser of the competition is Forum Biznesu.

The award was given by Europaproperty and the CEE Green Building Association for the design of the energy-efficient Goeppert-Mayer building on the premises of GPP BUSINESS PARK. The project received the award in the BREEAM Application In-Process category. The award received is the confirmation of the highest standard of the green building, whose main asset is the TRIGENERATION system. It allows for the production of electricity, heat and cold from gas, thus significantly reducing the operational costs. The project is unique on a European scale, and its award will certainly support efforts to establish a Business Centre in Katowice dedicated to companies from the BPO/SSC/R&D/IT sectors with high requirements.

The competition is organised by Puls Biznesu and is aimed at honouring dynamically developing small and medium-sized companies. The prestigious award Business Gazelles 2012 was awarded to GPP Business Park S.A.

The “New Impulse” distinctions are awarded to individuals and companies whose achievements indicate new paths of change for the growth and support of development mechanisms in the energy and fuel sector, initiators of transformations, restructurings, implementations of new technologies and innovations or supporters of free market mechanisms. The distinction was awarded to Górnośląski Park Przemysłowy sp. z o.o. for the practical implementation of the idea of ecological, energy-saving and sustainable construction by the editors of Miesięcznik Gospodarczy Nowy Przemysł and the wnp.pl web portal, together with the publisher – PTWP S.A. Group.

The aim of the competition organised by the Silesian Association of Managers is to identify the best managers and companies whose activities – particularly in the field of innovation – contribute to an increase in the competitiveness of the region’s economy. The distinction was awarded for a Modern Energy Efficient Class A Office Building, using the trigeneration system. The distinction was awarded as part of the “Success in Silesia” competition.
